Application Requirements

1) Completed application form.

2) The CMOEB exam fee in Canadian funds only, in the form of a certified cheque, bank draft, or money order. Personal cheques are not accepted.

3) A professional passport photo of the applicant; taken by a commercial photographer within the last year. If mailed, the photo must have the printed name of the applicant on the back.

4) College transcripts.

Your application will be rejected if the photo does not meet our photo requirements:

Photo must be a close-up of the head and shoulders so that the face covers a minimum of 25% of the photo.

Photo must show a full front view of the face and top of the shoulders squared to the camera (the image of the face and shoulders must be centered in the photo).

Photo must be taken against a plain white or light-coloured background so that the applicant’s features are clearly distinguishable against the background. There should be enough contrast between the background and the traits or clothing.

Photo must be clear, sharp and in focus.

The purpose of the Canadian Manual Osteopathy Board (CMOEB) is to establish and maintain uniform high standards of excellence in the manual osteopathy profession and education, primarily but not exclusively by preparing and administering to qualified applicants examinations of superior quality, whereby those legal agencies which govern the practice of manual osteopathy within each province and other countries may accept, at their discretion, those individuals who have successfully completed any part of the examinations of CMOEB, and by providing test and measurement services to the manual osteopathy profession in all areas of demonstrated need, and to advance the manual osteopathy profession when in the best interests of the corporation and manual osteopathy testing.
